Not enough people know, here and in general, about a Captain’s duties, what a Bosun does during the day, what does it means 'Engineer' on a ship or the mysterious roles of a Pumpman (without digging in most remote historical roles that still have a reference in the conservative Shipping World). Not enough people know how the goods we are buying, the energy we are consuming are reaching us everyday. This is dedicated to you because irrespectively of your feelings, fears or needs you’re always making the world we’re living in, happening every day. I’ve been educated to be respectful of you by my Mentors over my professional lifetime and the same I’m going to transfer to the future professionals that will take over from me.
