It was a great privilege to speak at the recent AIMS Congress in Lisbon on the future of organ transplantation and share the stage alongside Lakser-DeBakey Award recipient, Prof John T Schiller from NIH/NCI and Dr. med. Dilek Gürsoy (first female surgeon to implant an artificial heart in Europe) and Director General Of WHO, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Over 900 delegates from 5 continents - was incredible and inspiring to exchange ideas and knowledge and the future of science in answering the most important questions in healtcare.
