Yesterday was a big day in Council with nearly 30 items on the agenda! Check out Mayor Grant Smith’s recap of some of the key things discussed! 🙌 One of the first things discussed was a proposal to lease space in the Tryp Wyndham Hotel for a bus waiting lounge and a drivers’ lounge. Council would have a minor contribution of $23,746 towards the bus waiting lounge, while Horizons Regional Council, NZTA and Tranzit would cover the remaining costs.
