Our Marketing Manager, Jess, has been recognised as one of local government's emerging leaders! 🎉 Last week, she was named Highly Commended in the Sheffield Emerging Leader category at the LGFA Taituarā — Local Government Professionals Aotearoa Excellence Awards. Jess was recognised for her contribution to economic development, including helping secure major conferences and events that have brought millions of dollars into the local economy. Since becoming Marketing Manager, she has helped grow our isite's revenue by 45%, increase interest in visiting Palmy by 20%, increased visitor spend by 45% and secure an additional 44 conferences and business events in just two years. She also led the refresh of our city brand and our award-winning Summer Water Use campaign. We're incredibly proud of Jess and everything she's achieved for our city!
