Have your say on one of the biggest decisions our city will make in the coming years. 💧 Our current consent to discharge wastewater expires in 2028. That means we need to apply for a new one and decide how we treat and discharge wastewater for up to the next 35 years. We asked you for your thoughts on this in 2021, but since then, costs have changed and new national wastewater standards have been introduced by the government. You told us that Nature Calls wasn’t affordable during our 2024–34 long-term plan, so we’ve gone back and identified two new options that are cheaper. 👉 Check out the options and send us your thoughts at pncc.govt.nz/naturecalls.
