👷‍♂️ Q2 marked another period of solid progress in the construction of the PALLAS-reactor. The concrete pour of the -3 floor of the reactor building has been completed, providing the foundation for the underground reactor structure. This marks a significant moment for the project, as this first structural element means that for the first time in over 60 years we started the construction of a nuclear reactor building in the Netherlands. At the same time, work on the secondary cooling system building pit continued on schedule. Concrete works progressed steadily, including the pouring of approximately 900 m³ of underwater concrete in an 80 cm-thick layer. In parallel, the water in the pit was filtered to achieve the required quality for dewatering to deeper soil layers. Read more in our Q2 2026 construction update: https://lnkd.in/erpbkWAm.
