Last week, the UK Minister of State for International Development and Africa, Baroness Jenny Chapman, visited Nigeria and the Lafiya Programme to assess how UK investment is supporting Nigeria’s health system. Her itinerary included visits to the Unguwan Sunusi Primary Health Care Centre and the Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency where she toured the pharmacy, met patients, and staff, and saw how policymaking, financing, and frontline care come together to improve health services.
