𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚? 🌍 It is precisely this question that young people between the ages of 12 and 14 explored as part of 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - a project that introduces them to one of the central challenges of our time. In doing so, they engaged intensively with topics at the intersection of art, technology, and science. In workshops at the Technisches Museum Wien mit Österreichischer Mediathek and at the mumok - Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien, impressive artworks were created around the theme of the circular economy. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 „𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 - 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆“, which can still be seen at the mumok in Vienna until July 4th. 🌱 Cultural Collisions started in 2023 as a pilot project. The goal: to inspire young people for STEM subjects and encourage them to break stereotypes. The focus is on creative engagement with current topics such as climate, mobility, energy, and sustainability.
