Adam Draper and Brayton Williams ⏻ may well have created the most consequential firm in this generation of venture capital. Their debut fund, a $38M vehicle from 2016, has already returned 4.61x in distribuitions to their limited partners. And there's plenty of room to run, as the fund sits at 7.04x in total value that is still growing. For contrast, the top decile performance of that vintage is a mere 1.66x in distributions and 5.4x total value. But it's not (just) the raw performance which makes Boost VC such a remarkable firm. Instead, it's that their performance is derived from investing in the wildest ideas from science fiction, at scale. They are true first believers and see venture capital "a game of endurance and optimism."
