We are proud to launch a special edition poetry book titled, “Journey” which features 31 poems about recovery, resilience and hope! Submissions were received from more than 20 writers who participate in our client-run center in South Pasadena. Known as the William H. Compton, Jr. Wellness Center, it is open to anyone from the community who self-identifies as having lived experience with a mental health condition. The center is open five days a week and offers peer support, self-help and skill-building groups, community integration and social activities for clients.
