Pacific Blue is proud to take the next step in our reconciliation journey through announcing our ‘Innovate’ Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). At Pacific Blue, we work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to develop a vision for reconciliation. This vision is to strive toward a unified Australia, where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the social and economic opportunities of the energy transition. As a company, we are excited to take this next step as we embark on the implementation of the next phase of our RAP. You can read it here: https://lnkd.in/ge_hAmvG Jeanette Tapau, a proud Bindal and Birriah Traditional Owner woman from the Birri Gubba Nation in North Queensland, created this artwork for our Innovate RAP. Titled Yinjiga Duna (U-di-ja Da-na), translated as “Todays walk” in Birri Gubba language, the artwork represents Pacific Blue’s journey and opportunities for collaboration towards reconciliation. The Innovate RAP design team, Bayadherra, supported Pacific Blue to use Jeanette’s artwork appropriately and respectfully throughout the Innovate RAP design. Bayadherra are a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated creative studio founded by proud Yorta Yorta brother and sister, Luke and Siena Tieri.
