After the base board is formed on our corrugator, the sheets are transported to one of our five converting lines. Depending on the machine and box design, different types of die-cut tools are prepared according to layouts created by our CAD team. Rotary dies are mounted on cylinders and cut as they rotate, while flatbed dies stamp in a vertical pressing motion against the sheet. Although they work differently, both act like custom-made templates: creating the outline and adding functional details such as creases, openings, and folding lines in a single step. โ™ป๏ธ The offcuts from this process do not stay on the line for long: they are collected through our waste transport system, baled, and sent for recycling. After die-cutting, the sheet is no longer just a flat rectangle: it becomes a box blank, ready to be folded, glued, or delivered flat for assembly at our customerโ€™s site.
