♻️ 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 Corrugated cardboard is an excellent example of circular packaging: it is renewable, recyclable, and supported by well-established collection and recycling systems across the EU. At Pacapime, we are proud to actively contribute to this recycling chain through a simple but important process: re-introducing the valuable fibres in circulation and reducing waste wherever possible 🌱 In practice, this starts with the cardboard offcuts generated during production. These are collected and transported via our underground conveyor belt system directly to the baling machine, where they are compressed into compact bales. We send all bales to a recycler, where the cardboard is sorted, cleaned, and broken down into pulp, giving the fibres a new chance to become paper, and one day part of another box.📦 Did you know? A single bale can weigh around half a tonne. Depending on the size and structure of the packaging, that amount of cardboard could represent thousands of new boxes. By managing our offcuts efficiently, we ensure that our production remains as sustainable as the material we work with.♻️
