๐๐ฝ Welcome to this new edition of my newsletter, "Stories that Shape Us". This time, we have very special content because the interviewee is a very special person in my life: my father. โ๐ฝ Bonifacio Valdivia Milla had an impressive professional career. He was a brilliant student, earning two BAs with honors, a pioneering ReMA in Performing Arts, and becoming a full professor at the very young age of 26. ๐๏ธ Bonifacio Valdivia Milla is a renowned specialist in performing arts, dramatic literature, and sociolinguistics based in Granada, Spain. He is widely recognized for his cultural work as a coordinator of specialized reading clubs and for his academic publications on literature and theatrical analysis. ๐ญ For many years, he has successfully chaired the "Dramatic Texts Reading Club"(which belongs to the Andalusian Centre for Performing Arts Research and Resources (CIRAE). He selflessly coordinated this innovative space at the Teatro Alhambra in Granada from 2017 until mid-2025. Now, at the Library of Granada, he continues his work in theatrical promotion and dissemination by leading the monthly sessions of this reading club. He directs critical debates on great works of universal dramaturgy, analyzing pieces by authors such as Bernard-Marie Koltรจs, Wajdi Mouawad, and Alberto Conejero, amongst many others. โจ Please enjoy this small window not only into him and his appealing work and ideas, but also into those conversations we frequently have, which have become an infinite source of thought-provoking inspiration.
