My first week as a PAB Marketing Assistant. Where do I start...my first week has been a mixture of insightful, busy, and exciting! I joined PAB studios with very little prior marketing experience, so I knew that it would be a big learning curve and that there would be a lot of new concepts to get familiar with. I felt that PAB was the perfect place to start my marketing journey because of their impressive marketing legacy and their refreshing down-to-earth values. Luckily, everyone has really helped me to get stuck in with it all, been there to answer my questions, and have made me feel welcome and part of the team. On day one, I walked in to find a big present bag on my desk full of great gifts to help me settle in, and it was clear from the start that I had joined a company that really values its staff. This week, I have spent lots of time getting to know everyone and the fantastic work that PAB have been doing recently- I've seen some amazing examples of Automotive digital and videography, introduced myself to a couple of clients, and had a great time with the team helping with some social media filming. I even got involved with making (and eating) some pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. With this, I have learnt that there is much more to social media than meets the eye, and its more than just filming a video and pressing ‘post’. It was really fun on Wednesday to be a part of filming the team reacting to a delicious delivery of cakes and treats (thank you Camille Johnson!) and seeing how ideas for videos come together for a great end product. I’m looking forward to meeting more of our clients over the coming weeks, and I am eager to learn more about the exciting projects we have lined up. My first week has been nothing short of great, and it has left me feeling really positive for my future at PAB Studios!
