A medical coordinator managing a 12-person team in the  Sahel uses 4 tools to run a single day:  — WhatsApp for alerts and decisions  — Excel for shift planning  — Email for credential documents  — A notebook for incident records  None of these talk to each other.  None have an audit trail.  None work when the connection drops.  This is the operational reality of most humanitarian  medical missions in 2025.  We built ASSIST because this is not good enough.
