Bazen görünürlük ihtimalidir. Bazen okura ulaşmanın daha sessiz ama daha kalıcı bir yoludur. Bazen de bir romanın, gündelik hızın ve unutulma ihtimalinin dışında, daha uzun ömürlü bir dolaşıma katılmasıdır. Şans ve Dans benim için bu anlamda yalnızca yayımlanmış bir roman değil; aynı zamanda kütüphane katalogları, koleksiyon kayıtları, yer numaraları ve raf bilgileri üzerinden ilerleyen belgeli bir yolculuk oldu. Sometimes it is a possibility of visibility. Sometimes it is a quieter but more lasting way of reaching readers. Sometimes it is the chance for a novel to enter a longer life beyond the speed of the present and the risk of being forgotten. In this sense, Şans ve Dans has not only been a published novel for me; it has also become a documented journey through library catalogues, collection records, call numbers, and shelf information. It is one thing for a book to appear on a sales page. It is another thing for it to appear in a library catalogue. The first often belongs to today. The second may also remain for tomorrow.
