What a fantastic day at the inaugural JAX Australian Symposium in Perth! πŸ”¬πŸ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success. It was wonderful to see researchers, collaborators, and industry colleagues come together to share knowledge, network, and discuss the advances made possible through mouse research. Special thanks to our Perth speakers and host: πŸ‘€ Krishna Bhagavatula,Ph.D., MBA (The Jackson Laboratory) πŸ‘€ Virginie Lam (Curtin University & Perron Institute) πŸ‘€ Blair Johnson (Fiona Wood Foundation, The University of Western Australia) πŸ‘€ Maarit Patrick (Ozgene ARC) Thank you also to the hosts and presenters in Sydney with Australian BioResources and in Brisbane with Translational Research Institute Australia. It was fantastic to follow the presentations from across Australia throughout the day and see the research community connected across all three locations. The scientific program was engaging and highly informative, providing valuable insights into translational research, mouse models, reproducibility, and best practices in mouse research from JAX experts. The symposium showcased the strength of Australia's biomedical research community and the value of collaboration across institutions, disciplines, and states. Thank you again to everyone who attended, presented, and supported this inaugural event. We look forward to continuing to strengthen Australia's research community through collaboration, innovation, and scientific excellence.
