Pupils from Chilworth House Chilworth House School in Wheatley donned graduation caps and gowns for a Children’s Graduation Ceremony at Oxford Brookes University. The event honoured the achievements of neurodivergent children who took part in the Children’s University - a charitable scheme that encourages youngsters to take part in extra-curricular activities including sports, computer coding, science, art and much more. It was organised by Dr Jon Reid Senior Lecturer in Child Development, Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Inclusion at Oxford Brookes University and a member of the University’s Children and Young People Network, in collaboration with Dave Wilcox, headteacher and the staff at Chilworth House. Dr Reid completed his teacher training at Oxford Brookes before working at Chilworth House. Dr Lucy Robinson, an educationalist based at Cardiff University.
