Oxford Brookes inspires the next generation of women in motorsport This week, we hosted an inspiring event for International Women in Engineering Day, welcoming local school students for a day of hands-on motorsport engineering. 🏎️ The event featured a keynote from rising racing star Karen Gaillard (Iron Dames), who shared her journey from karting to the GT3 circuit, alongside insights from engineering professionals from the Mercedes-Petronas F1 team. Students didn't just learn about engineering—they lived it, competing to design and race their own aerodynamic "rocket cars."
