In the days after two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, there have been more than 450 aftershocks. At least 1,450 people have died, and more than 50,000 people are missing. There is huge damage to homes, health centres, power and water systems – places and services that people rely on to survive. People are coming together to do everything they can. Thousands of rescuers and tons of equipment, medicines, and surgical supplies are there. They are working so hard to save lives, but we need to coordinate and respond rapidly.
