What does a School + Industry partnership look like? At Overnewton, we believe career development extends beyond the classroom. While our experienced Careers team supports students in exploring their pathways beyond school, authentic industry engagement is equally important in helping students connect learning with the world around them. We are fortunate to work alongside valued industry partners such as ADP Consulting - a leading sustainability-led multi services engineering firm, with a global footprint. Over the past four years, ADP Consulting has supported our students through Careers Expo presentations, work experience opportunities, and leadership in our Year 9 Women in STEM workshops. Today, we were delighted to welcome back Old Collegian and Director of Digital, Derek Huynh, who presented to a cohort of VCE students. Derek’s presentation sparked thoughtful discussion and genuine curiosity, with many students and staff continuing conversations well into recess. We extend our sincere thanks to Derek and the team at ADP Consulting for their ongoing investment in our students and their futures. We look forward to continuing this valued partnership in the years ahead.
