Today as Americans we celebrate 250 years of our nation and as Catholics we're also celebrating St. Pier Giorgio Frassati's feast day. The United States of America was founded on the freedom to practice our faith, it is beautifully made up of many heritages coming together and still having the right to proudly exist here, and we continue to boldly battle for truth and justice. Just as St. Pier Giorgio Frassati made his Catholic faith a part of all he did while loving his country and standing up for the rights of its people, may we have the grace to reject whatever is contrary to the name of Christ and to strive after all that does it honor. 🇺🇸
