“It's not about putting in more hours, but about becoming more effective”: One of the Otto Group's strategic pillars is to strengthen our performance culture. However, this does not mean more pressure or longer workdays but understanding performance as something positive and communal, says Katy Roewer in an interview about performance culture in the Otto Group on our website. 💡 It is not about control… but about orientation, transparency and effectiveness. 💡 It is not about putting in more hours… but about becoming more effective. And it is about self-efficacy: We place emphasis on employees making decisions and taking responsibility. We also strengthen the feedback culture and set clear goals and guidelines – individually for employees, at team or department level and for the organization as a whole. A strong performance culture means: creating clarity, embracing responsibility and shaping the future courageously. We want people to feel motivated to move things forward. Creative power provides a real competitive edge. Want to learn more about performance culture and cultural change in the Otto Group?
