This year marks 20 years since I began my career with WIN PLC — a journey that continued through IMImobile, and ultimately into Cisco Webex following Cisco’s acquisition of IMImobile in 2021. Over these two decades, I’ve been fortunate to grow through a wide range of roles, starting in Operations, moving through Service Management and Technical Account Management, then spending three years as Country Manager / Account Director on a major Telenor project in Pakistan. More recently, I’ve been part of Client Success, supporting CPaaS and CCaaS customers as they integrate and adopt cutting-edge AI-driven solutions. What has truly defined this journey are the people. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with and be supported by some outstanding leaders over the years. One constant throughout much of my career was Jay Patel , from his time as CEO of IMImobile to VP/GM within Cisco Collaboration. Jay sadly passed away late last year, but his leadership, belief, and influence on my journey will always stay with me. I’m also deeply grateful to Mike Jefferies and Emma Marlow, alongside Jay, for the extraordinary support they showed during one of the most difficult periods of my life in 2012, following the loss of my wife. The respect, care, and understanding they demonstrated helped me navigate returning to work while supporting my twin daughters — something I will never forget. Many other leaders have played a significant role in my longevity and success, including Paul Hone, Johan Steneskog, Alex Cambell, Beverley Brookes, Richard Ward, Chris Tocher, Tristan J., Marcus Quinn , and Wendy Heydenrych — thank you for the trust, guidance, and encouragement over the years. With the rapid growth of AI and the role Cisco will continue to play in shaping the future of collaboration and customer experience, I have no doubt the company will go from strength to strength. I’m genuinely excited to continue being part of that journey. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all the customers I’ve worked with over the years — You’ve made this journey both enjoyable and rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to grow together.
