In 2022, we partnered with the Global Risk Institute to launch the Financial Industry Forum on Artificial Intelligence. In 2025, we did it again — and this time, we broadened the partnership. With the Global Risk Institute, Finance Canada / Finances Canada, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada | Agence de la consommation en matière financière du Canada, Bank of Canada and #FINTRAC, we co-hosted several workshops focused on the responsible use of #AI in Canadian Financial Services. The forum brought together #AI experts from the financial industry, as well as policymakers, regulators, academics, and research institutes. There were four workshops: May 2025 – Impact of AI on cyber and security October 2025 – Impact of AI on financial crime October 2025 – Impact of A on financial stability November 2025 – Impact of AI on consumer wellbeing Building on discussions from the workshops, we’re excited to share a final report that highlights key themes, insights, best practices, and recommendations.
