As #AI capabilities continue to evolve, so do the risks facing Canada’s critical infrastructures, including the financial sector. We recently partnered with the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre), part of the Communications Security Establishment Canada | Centre de la sécurité des télécommunications Canada, to host a virtual session for the financial institutions we supervise on how to prepare for frontier AI threats. The session supports OSFI’s ongoing work to strengthen AI‑related risk management and cyber resilience across the sector. Key takeaways: ✅ Understanding how the Cyber Centre supports critical infrastructure sectors that include finance ✅ Recognizing that managing frontier AI risks is a shared responsibility across government, industry, and technology providers ✅ Implementing practical mitigation measures to strengthen cyber resilience ✅ Leveraging Cyber Centre services and expertise to help stay ahead of emerging threats To learn more about frontier AI and the risks associated with it, visit: https://lnkd.in/gRTjjew8 Financial institutions can subscribe to Cyber Centre services by email at: [email protected].
