There’s no Ørsted without our suppliers 🤝 Behind every wind farm is a network of suppliers that make it possible – and many of our partners in the UK are now taking that expertise global. Over the last five years, we’ve signed major contracts with 255 UK companies, and more than half have worked with us on two or more contracts. That matters because strong supply chains aren’t built transaction by transaction. They’re built through long-term partnerships, shared experience, and trust 🙌 Nearly 30 % of the companies in our latest UK supply chain map have supported Ørsted projects outside the UK, with many developing their capabilities by working on some of our early UK offshore wind projects before expanding globally. Companies like BGB Group, pictured here, have gone on to support projects in the US as well. Our suppliers are key to every stage of what we do – from developing and building wind farms to operating them safely and efficiently.
