Creating value for Irish farming families starts with staying connected to the people at the heart of our industry. Ornua, in partnership with Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board, jointly hosted members of Dairy Women Ireland this week for a morning of discussion, insight and collaboration focused on future opportunities for Irish dairy. Attendees heard from experts across Bord Bia and Ornua on global dairy markets, sustainability, quality assurance and the continued success of Kerrygold on the world stage. The session also provided an important opportunity for open discussion, with farmer attendees sharing their valuable insights and experiences to help strengthen connections across the industry. Speakers from Bord Bia included Roz O'Shaughnessy, Michelle Jordan, David Kennedy and Dr. Eleanor Murphy, while Jeanne Kelly and Rebecca Claffey represented Ornua. Dairy Women Ireland was represented by Deputy President Mella Briscoe and Regional Leader Katie Gleeson, whose contributions brought valuable farmer perspectives to the discussion.
