Danke an Georg Maschmeyer, Christoph Mußmann, alle Autoren und die beteiligten Fachgesellschaften. 🔶 Speicheldrüsenkarzinome gehören zu den seltenen, aber biologisch äußerst heterogenen Tumorerkrankungen im Kopf-Hals-Bereich. Die aktuelle Onkopedia-Leitlinie unterstreicht die Bedeutung einer frühzeitigen, interdisziplinären Diagnostik und Therapie. 🔶 Chirurgie bleibt der kurative Goldstandard, ergänzt durch postoperative Strahlentherapie bei Hochrisikopatient:innen. Besonders spannend ist die zunehmende Rolle der Molekulardiagnostik, die personalisierte Therapieentscheidungen bei rezidivierten oder metastasierten Erkrankungen ermöglicht. 🔶 Die Leitlinie zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie Präzisionsonkologie auch bei seltenen Tumorentitäten an Bedeutung gewinnt. Particularly noteworthy is the growing impact of molecular diagnostics, enabling more personalized treatment strategies for recurrent and metastatic disease. 🔷The guideline demonstrates how precision oncology is increasingly shaping care even in rare tumor entities.
