Manager (Tertiary Education, Monitoring and Review) at Quality & Qualifications Ireland

Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) has published the expert panel report arising from the recent #QA evaluation using the European Approach of the Joint Master in Leadership for Sustainable Urban and Coastal Development, a joint programme developed through the European University Alliance EU-CONEXUS and coordinated by South East Technological University. The EU-CONEXUS alliance includes SETU, La Rochelle Université, Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir, University of Zadar, Agricultural University of Athens, Frederick University, Universitatea Tehnică de Construcții București, Klaipeda University, and Universität Rostock. The report has completed the relevant QQI governance process and has been approved by QQI’s Approvals and Reviews Committee for publication. The report is now available on QQI’s website. https://lnkd.in/eFGMbBHn The European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes is a standardised framework adopted by European Higher Education Area ministers to support the quality assurance of international joint degrees. It enables institutions to undergo a single evaluation process, rather than multiple national assessments. In this case, the expert panel found the joint programme to be in compliance with the European Approach.
