Building the event-led growth engine at ClickUp. From 3 events a quarter → 1 event a week.

I love when ClickUp milestones line up perfectly with my own. 🫶 ✨ Yesterday, we launched ClickUp 4.0, the most interesting and exciting launch I’ve been part of in my three-and-a-half years here. It also marked my final event of 2025. 💜 In the past 12 months, I’ve hosted 43 events across five continents, visiting 26 cities, and my god, what a journey it’s been. From Madrid to Mumbai in a single week to brining Secret Supper to South Africa for the first time, this year has genuinely been one of the most rewarding, fascinating, and downright unforgettable of my career. I’m delivering events at a capacity I never imagined possible, and I can confidently say the quality is still top tier (bar the occasional hiccup here and there, but look, even at ClickUp, we're still only human 🤷🏼‍♀️). If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can always make an event work. No matter what the world throws at you, you can pivot, adapt, and still create a memorable experience for your guests. And let me tell you, 2025 loved a curveball: 🔦 A country-wide unexplained blackout the day before our Barcelona event 🚒 A restaurant catching fire (yes, fire brigade and all) during our Sydney Supper ⛈️ A typhoon rolling into Manila on the exact day of our Brain Food event 🚫 A full-blown tube strike. On a Monday. In London. There was a time when any one of these would’ve sent me into a full spiral. But now? Water off a duck’s back. 🦆 A normal day in ClickUp’s community events team looks something like this: Check task list → Review registrations → Manage a catastrophic surprise that could derail the entire event → Coffee → Back to the task list. I know I harp on about ClickUp, and how proper systems and workflows have completely transformed how we operate, but it’s true. Trish has built a world-class events machine, and I’m beyond grateful to be part of it, because I know I’m helping build a world-class team. 2025, you were a rollercoaster, but one I thoroughly enjoyed. 2026, watch out. We’re only getting started. 💪 🔥
