As part of our #Juneteenth celebrations, Organon’s Black Leaders Network (BLN) employee resource group hosted a virtual event featuring renowned artist and creative historian Ted Ellis. During the session, Ellis explored the origins and evolution of this national holiday through his paintings, while honoring African American trailblazers whose contributions continue to shape our world.   Ellis’ Juneteenth Champions series—comprising 30 portraits, one for each day in June—collectively preserves and illuminates the people and events that define this history, from Galveston, Texas in 1865 to the present day.   His work, like that of the individuals he depicts, reflects Organon’s core values—especially rise together, keep moving, and we all belong. This Juneteenth, we celebrate the cultural impact of Mr. Ellis’ art and advocacy, and appreciate the space to engage in meaningful dialogue, reflection, and progress.   #Organon #HereForHerHealth
