A small workgroup from Oregon State University realized the plain truth: We need a strategy to make online programs and courses AI resilient. From that work came the 𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗘𝗿𝗮, a new tool that helps faculty who teach online navigate the challenges and opportunities of using AI in their courses. Rooted in research and released under a Creative Commons license, this six-point framework offers clear guidance for instructors and online program leaders to create holistic policies and a more consistent experience for online learners.
