Great to hear from Robin Denton, Operations Director at Alpha Construction Ltd, on how NUAR is supporting their work and their clients. “During our flood defence construction works at a substation in Walsall, an active, uncharted telecoms cable was discovered as a result of safe digging practices close to the proposed line of the new flood wall. No telecoms supplier could confirm ownership of the cable, meaning works couldn’t proceed in that area. After gaining access to NUAR, a search on the portal identified the owner of the cable, allowing works to continue safely.
