This year’s Orbis India Partners Meet was a special one—marking 25 years of partnership and impact. A huge amount of work went into bringing this together, and it really showed. Massive congratulations to the Orbis India team for the energy, planning, and care they put into every detail. At the meet, 47 partner eye care institutions came together for open, thoughtful conversations around this year’s theme: Empowering Eye Care Institutions for a Green and Resilient Future. From practical ways to build greener eye care systems to strengthening long‑term resilience, the discussions created a space for shared learning and collaboration—with sustainability at the centre. Kathleen Sherwin, Orbis President & CEO, was pleased to join the meeting virtually, where she emphasised the importance of partnership in improving access to eye care: "Future‑proofing eye health requires partnership. This is how we move from isolated efforts to system change," she told the room.
