Our President & CEO, Kathleen Sherwin, joined government, healthcare, and international partners to mark the launch of a new program expanding children’s eye care across Mongolia. With the support of Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung, this multi‑year partnership will strengthen pediatric eye care services, helping more children get earlier diagnoses and treatment closer to home. The program is expected to reach around 200,000 children, including those in rural and underserved communities. “This program is about bringing quality eye care closer to communities,” said Kathleen Sherwin at the opening ceremony, highlighting the importance of building strong, sustainable systems that work for children and families. Thank you to Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung, the Ministry of Health, National Center for Maternal and Child Health, regional hospitals, and all our partners and teams who made this launch possible. We’re proud to be working together to improve access to eye care for children in Mongolia.
