Producing more food for the world matters. So does losing less of what we already produce. Our systems can see what’s inside an egg before incubation: whether it's fertile and what sex it is, so hatcheries stop wasting resources. The same imaging technology looks inside an avocado or a watermelon to detect defects we can’t see from the outside, letting producers sort their harvest before it reaches the supermarket shelf.
