A milestone for sustainable public infrastructure in Co. Meath. Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran has officially opened the redeveloped Kilcarn Government Offices in Navan, a modern and energy-efficient workplace serving multiple Government Departments and agencies. Supported through the European Union's Next Generation EU Fund, the project has transformed an existing office building into a high-performing, future-focused workplace. Energy upgrades have improved the building’s BER from a D rating to an A rating, while biodiversity measures, including integrated swift nesting boxes, help support local wildlife. This project highlights how innovative design, sustainability and biodiversity can work together to create better public buildings for the future.
