Optiscan Imaging Ltd CEO Dr. Camile Farah recently sat down with Stockhead journalist tim boreham to discuss the company's upcoming launch of InSpecta for the US veterinary market and the broader commercial strategy for Optiscan. In this wide-ranging interview, Camile discusses: - the anticipated launch of Optiscan's first commercial product in the US; - why the veterinary market provides an important pathway to commercialisation; - how the InSpecta rollout will inform the future launch of our human imaging platforms; - the progress of our clinical studies in Australia and the US; and - what's next for Optiscan, including AI-enabled decision support, expanded clinical indications and long-term commercial growth. As Camile explains in the article: "We aim to start small and build over the 12 months. Hopefully, if we cut a deal with one of the large corporates we can scale up quickly after that." "No one in the world has this technology for these applications. A lot of parties have tried … but the image resolution is poor and adoption has been very low...We have spent nearly 20 years validating and miniaturising the technology, to the degree the surgeon has a microscope in the palm of their hands.” Thank you to Tim Boreham and the team at Stockhead for the opportunity to share Optiscan's story.
