I published a new Optilogix Insider piece today. The core idea is simple: Big-and-bulky last mile is not only facing a labor problem. It is facing a knowledge-continuity problem. So much of the real operation still lives inside experienced people: drivers, helpers, dispatchers, warehouse teams, trainers, and managers who know what the product actually requires in the field. But turnover is higher. Training is harder to protect. Margins are thinner. And too many lessons disappear after the route is completed. That is why I keep coming back to the Smart Lifecycle File. Not as another software field. As a place where operational memory can live. Because the future of big-and-bulky delivery cannot depend only on who happens to remember the problem.
