Future-ready infrastructure depends on future-ready people. At Optik, this is what we build. At the IPWEA NSW & ACT State Conference 2026, two interns from our latest round, Jessica Yousif and Minh Nhat Ngo, presented their projects and joined a panel on young engineers and the future of work. They were not there to observe. They weree contributing, shaping their own future and the industry. This is the shift from student to professional. Optik places interns into real projects with real expectations, building confidence, capability, and professional identity. Beyond the 12-week program, we continue to support our interns through industry exposure, alumni engagement, and initiatives like Optik Connect. The aim is simple: - Keep them connected - Keep them growing - Keep them visible and actively contributing to industry A real highlight also was having their client, MidCoast Council, in the room. We value this long-term partnership and the opportunites it creates. Thank you. Well done, Jessica and Minh. We are very proud of you. We also thank our corporate sponsor, Cognizant, for enabling us to continue creating ripple impact through the program. If you are interested in partnering with Optik and be part of our ecosystem, reach out to learn more.
