The Shard is one of London’s most iconic buildings - and now it’s one of the latest to make the switch to #FullFibre. But here’s the challenge: around 3,000 premises in commercial buildings across the city still haven’t upgraded, and they’re at real risk as the old copper-based PSTN is being switched off in January 2027. For building owners, that could mean losing access to essential services like phones, alarms and security systems. Our engineers worked closely with The Shard team to make the upgrade simple and seamless, with new infrastructure added in just a few hours.
