𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀. As Nigeria prepares to defend its Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title, I find myself reflecting on one of the most personal conversations I had during the 2024 tournament in Morocco. This wasn't an interview about tactics, goals, or trophies. It was about 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Before 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗮 became a five-time African champion, before she won titles for the green and white on football's biggest stages, she was a young woman who almost walked away from the game after devastating personal loss. In our conversation, she opened up about grief, doubt, injuries, and the inner battles that nearly ended a remarkable career. As the Super Falcons' final squad prepares to defend Africa's crown once again, this documentary is my tribute to one player whose greatest victory may never have been a trophy—but the courage to keep going when giving up seemed easier.
