We recognize and celebrate two recipients of the 2025 Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award for Excellence in Conservation who strengthened Ontario’s natural landscapes. 10,000 Trees for the Rouge continues to restore the Rouge River Watershed through large‑scale volunteer planting. The Bruce Trail Conservancy’s seed orchards ensure a sustainable supply of native plant material for ecological restoration.
