We congratulate two recipients of the 2025 Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award for Excellence in Conservation: The Oakes Project: Heritage, Arts and Tourism saved the Museum of Northern History in Kirkland Lake by reopening it as a community‑run institution in 2025. The City of Mississauga’s forestry division advanced invasive species management through its sustainable goat‑grazing program.
