Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, and in 2026 the focus is on creating mentally healthy, psychosocially safe workplaces. Psychosocial hazards can directly impact physical safety, decision-making, and overall wellbeing on the job. If you run an agribusiness, whether as a property owner, the farm management company, labour hire provider or the spray contractor you’re a PCBU (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking). And that means you have a legal responsibility to eliminate or minimise psychosocial risks so far as is reasonably practicable.
