Kim Paduano is a Student Success Navigator in Onondaga Community College's Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (C-STEP). "What I love most about being a Student Success Navigator is the opportunity to reduce barriers that can make college feel overwhelming and help students feel supported, connected, and capable of succeeding. Many students are balancing academics alongside work, parenting, financial challenges, or other major life responsibilities, and I enjoy helping them navigate those obstacles while connecting them to the resources and support systems available to them. I especially value building genuine relationships with students and being someone they can turn to for guidance and encouragement. One of the most rewarding parts of the role is watching students persevere through challenges, grow in confidence, and continue moving toward goals that may have once felt out of reach."
