The landscape of work is transforming dramatically. Historically, management and planning were often directives from a 'white-collar' perspective, detached from the realities of the field. This evolved significantly with digitalization and the rise of AI, automating many tasks. The industrial revolution, with models like Fordism and Taylorism, led to an increase in white-collar roles as manufacturing became more mechanized. Post-WWII, concepts like Kaizen and Lean Production further automated blue-collar work. Today, we're on the cusp of another major shift. Advancements in AI and humanoid robotics are poised to take over many physical tasks traditionally performed by humans. This era, driven by IoT and AI, suggests a future where human physical labor may significantly diminish. What are your thoughts on the impact of IoT and AI on the future of work?
