A person rushing to help another, alone, under pressure, in chaos, carrying an emotional weight nothing quite prepares you for. Situations where needs exceed means, where every second counts, and where lives depend on the decisions made. This is the world first responders live in. We chose to help those who save lives do it better, and in better conditions. Today, the DIREKTION network rewards that choice, awarding Manta the Best Innovation prize in the Medical Decision Support category, a reminder that a technology is only worth the reality it responds to. Transforming raw field data into structured medical decisions, immediately actionable by responders, while facilitating standardized capture and sharing of patient data: these are tools built for those who save lives every day. During our days at INTERSCHUTZ 2026, we had the pleasure of showcasing the Manta solution, making great connections, and notably meeting former laureate Bethan Evans, COO of Excelerate Technology Group , and connecting with resilience-focused practitioners like Jorge Gomes, European Operations Coordinator for VOST Europe. Thank you to the Pôle SAFE Cluster team, Maëlle Groslier, Olivier SALVI and Michel Bour, for their support, to Bastien CAILLARD (INERIS) and the DIREKTION network , to CNRS Innovation, to the ESA BIC Sud France and CNES teams, and to everyone who tested, challenged and improved the product from the start. This is not another milestone. This is how we want to care for first responders.
